I have found myself at a crossroads by way of my own insubordination. Everything seems to be culminating toward a crowning moment for me. I have been unemployed for three months and exhausted my savings. I’ve been scraping by on what little money I can acquire doing odd jobs for people. I’ve grown stagnant here. The looming threat of homelessness stalks me.

I believe that the mark of a mature man is coping with disappointment. One can either be overcome by adversity or overcome it. I have always dreamed of traveling as a minimalist with all of my possessions in a military tote. It would seem that now, circumstance is leading me naturally in that direction.

My accommodations will be arranged through online connections with fellow travelers. Along the way, I expect to meet many interesting individuals and have many extraordinary experiences. Adventure and discovery awaits. These are the tales of my journey…
